Members of AIS meet for a two day seminar over a Thursday and Friday every two months and participate in a mixture of classroom-style lectures, skill-based practice, and, most importantly for the patient, observation of treatments and patient-focused learning.  This means that if you are a patient and have booked your appointment for a Friday during an AIS seminar weekend, you should expect to see many more dentists and team members than you would normal experience at a dental office. At any given meeting, there may be anywhere from 12 to 20 dentists that may observe a treatment.
